Raahen Rantajatsit aka Raahe Jazz on the Beach Festival is an intimate modern and contemporary quality jazz festival. The 24th Raahen Rantajatsit will be held 26 - 28 July 2012.

Raahe is an idyllic, old wooden seaside town in Nothern Finland. The main concerts will take place on the Fantti open air stage near by the sea. Other venues are Härkätori park and Ruiskuhuone club, which is also located by the sea, and Bio Huvimylly, which is an old wooden cinema. Venues on the map on Finnish pages.

You can buy food and drinks at the festival. There is no age limit in the festival area. Alcohol is served to over-18s in a separate area.

Rantajatsit is a non-profit festival organized by Rajatsi, a local jazz association, and it is made possible by volunteers. The main sponsors are the City of Raahe and Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. Rajatsi is a member of the Finnish Jazz Federation and Europe Jazz Network.
